Block Island, just south of mainland Rhode Island, is a wildlife and nature preserve filled with various geographies, ranging from rock formations to sandy beaches. After the major summer rush, early October leaves Block Island only filled with locals and a few weekenders.

On the gloomy, melancholy day, Carys, with her doe eyes and dark hair, contrasted the grey we met on every step of our day. Whether jumping into the ocean or running through fields, Carys embodies the free-spirit nature of the ever-elusive Block Island.

At this time, Carys and I ventured to the little island to explore its raw wonders and vast land. We drove through rolling fields, stumbling upon windy regions, enormous bluffs, and heaps of seals and black crows.
